30 Day Vegan Challenge

For the past few months now I have been interested in animal rights and the wellness of animals. I have been going onto PETA's website frequently to see their latest updates and news. The horrifying images and videos I have found are heart wrenching, but they also send a very strong message.
The saying is true we are what we eat. Humans today are looking for a quick meal to satisfy their hunger, the problem with this is that we are not reading the ingredients on our foods or questioning where our products come from like we should be. You drive through your local fast food joint and order a burger with extra onions and a large order of fries. Sure you know your are getting potatoes, onions, and cow flesh, but have you considered all of the processing and different hands each of those ingredients passes before it reaches your mouth?
Take the meat for example. It starts out as a cow in a crammed factory and is pumped with steroids. The cow is then slaughtered, handled, processed, ground up and shipped to fast food joints everywhere. The ground meat is a collection of cows not just one and is handled multiple times at your fast food joint and is buttered, battered, and oiled for taste. It is then thrown together with other processed food, wrapped, and shipped out the window into your car followed by your stomach. Sounds appetizing right?
So here is my challenge. Vegetables, fruit, and whole grains. These are the foods mother nature has intended for us to eat. For 30 days I am challenging you to follow a strict vegetarian or vegan diet. I know for some of you a vegan diet seems near impossible. So take it slower, try the 30 day vegetarian challenge and don't eat animal flesh of any kind. No steak, burgers, chicken, fish, or pig. Don't take this challenge lightly, really commit yourself to 30 full days and I guarantee you will weigh less, stress less, feel better, and have more energy. That is my promise to you. Now if your are feeling like a bad ass go for the vegan diet and don't eat anything that comes from an animal. No eggs, milk, cheese, etc. You can do it, believe in yourself and inspire yourself.
